Following this summer season of concerts at the hotel, The Porthminster in St Ives has after sponsoring the choir  for many years, and prior to merger the Praze Choir, has decided not to renew the deal.  We thank the Management and Staff of the Hotel for their support.

A massed Penwith Choirs event will take place in St Just on Sunday 15 November as part of the Mousehole Choir's Centenary.

With Christmas in the offing there are two opportunities to hear the choir on Sunday 13 December at Ventonleague Chapel and the following week at St Elwyn's.

The Choir is still seeking an Assistant Musical Director.  We would like somebody who would become a singing member of the choir (any section) with a good musical education, background and, if possible, similar past experience. He would act as deputy to our Musical Director. This would include assisting at practices and lead to conducting concerts as needed.To register your interest, please write or phone:
